QUEST 1 Tool is designed to help recreation and sport providers review, measure and evaluate the extent to which an organization's policies and procedures support healthy child development.
The QUEST 1 Tool will help an organization answer the following questions:
Does the organization have written policies and procedures in place that support quality?
Is there evidence that these policies exist?
Where is the location of the evidence of these policies?
Is there evidence of written procedures for these policies?
Where is the location of evidence of the written procedures?
Is there evidence of adherence to procedures?
Where is the location of the evidence of adherence to procedures?
What are the methods for monitoring adherence?
How is the policy/procedure communicated?
What action, if any, is required to follow-up on findings?
In conducting this assessment, organizations will gain a clear indication of both the strengths and deficiencies of their policies and procedures that support a high quality experience for children.
